The steel mill CT-550 ST is a WIG and E-HAND-COMBICH and white device with 200 amps and 50 ampere plasma cutting function. The CT-550 ST is equally suitable for editing thin sheet metal and thicker sheets. So the areas of application are very diverse. The 3-in-1 combination device achieves a cutting output of up to 12 mm when cutting plasma. Stainless steel sheets and metals, which are affected with rust and paint, can also be cut very well with the CT-550 ST. Functions

  • DC Wig welding - DC (DC). Welding of almost all metals, such as steel, stainless steel, copper and much more, Note: Not suitable for aluminum - an AC/DC device is required for this.
  • Plasma / cut - a plasma beam is generated using electricity, which melts the material on, which is then removed with compressed air. In this way, all conductive metals such as standard steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum, titanium and much more can be easily cut precisely.
  • Cutting thickness - separation cuts are possible up to 12 mm depending on the material. Construction steel ST37 to 12 mm, V2A or V4A up to 8 mm, aluminum up to 5 mm.

Properties & advantages

  • HF ignition (WIG) - enables contactless ignition and ensures a much better welding result. No lift arc, no stroking ignition!
  • Contact inflammation (cut) - high frequency (HF) contact inflammation for first -class ignition behavior. A painting over the workpiece is sufficient.
  • Cutting current (cut) - Stepless setting from 15 to 50 A.
  • Air awards (cut) - After completing the cutting process, air flows to cool the burner and reduce the wear of the nozzle and electrode.
  • Gas reference (WIG) - the tungsten electrode protects against too high wear and protects the weld seam from oxidation. The parameter can be set individually and separately. He indicates how long after the ignition should flow gas.

  • WIG (Wolfram-Inert-Gas)-protective gas welding with inert/inactive gases such as Argon 4.6 (99.996%). The glowing, non -melting tungsten electrode allows the workpiece to melt up and enables the add -on material to be added, which forms the weld seam.
  • MMA electrode welding / ARC welding - a universal welding process. An arc makes the electrode melt and thus forms the weld seam. No protective gas is required.
  • Note:/Strong> The device is not intended for use in living areas in which the power supply is carried out via a public low -voltage supply system. It may be difficult to ensure electromagnetic tolerance in these areas, both through line -bound and emitted disturbance.
  • The connection can vary depending on the stable electrode. Therefore, please note the connection specification of the stable electrode type used! In the case of welding common DC electrodes, the connection is made, as shown on the welding machine. When processing DC+electrodes, the connections must be exchanged.
