Our engineers and technicians are continuously working on the optimization of our devices and the targeted improvement of individual system components. In this way, we can incorporate the latest technological developments directly into the conception and also take into account customer requests and suggestions.

In addition to welding devices, plasma cutters, compressors and accessories, steelworks offers a large range of spare and wear parts. Standard components are in stock at all times in order to be able to react adequately and without loss of time if necessary.

Always up to date - despite the already high expertise, steelworks relies on continuous growth in knowledge and interdisciplinary exchange of its employees. For this purpose, the company is a member of the German Association for Schweißtechnik e.V. The aim is to constantly expand our skills through professional and needs -based training and to develop new standards that improve the quality, security and reliability sustainably.
history
Stahlwerk looks back on a long and traditional past. A lot has changed in the more than 20 years of history, but the claim to produce top products in premium quality has remained. The focus is still on honest craft. This idea is firmly anchored in our thinking and acting and extends from the foundation to this day like a thread through the company's history.
Milestones
1998 - The year of foundation: inspired by the idea of combining welding equipment in the highest quality with excellent customer service under one roof, the entrepreneur Okan Balaban founded Stahlwerk at the Bonn location in 1998. Already at a young age, the son of an electronics master had the first points of contact with precision devices, which shaped his claim in terms of quality and security in his later life.
2000 - The portfolio can be steadily expanded and the company is also growing with the portfolio. In addition to welding devices, plasma cutters and compressors, steel mill now also offers a wide range of accessories and wear parts.
2008 - After ten years of hard work, the company grows out of the existing warehouse and moves to Bonn after Alfter. Products, manufacturing processes, sales, logistics and, last but not least, customer service are continuously optimized, so that the Stahlwerk brand will soon become a fixed term in the industry and, in addition to the service, especially due to the high product quality.
2009 - The cornerstone for our seal of approval "5 Years Guarantee" is laid - a performance that demands a lot of trust in our own product, which we are still happy to raise.
2014 - Another expansion is imminent and new jobs can be created permanently.
2017 - After almost ten years, a new move to Weilerswist near Cologne is coming up. In the meantime, numerous customers all over Europe know and appreciate the steelworks products.
2018 - 20 years of company anniversary. The company's growth course knows no limits even in the 20th anniversary. The portfolio is expanded again and other employees are hired.
2019 - The success story continues. The company receives new premises in Bornheim near Bonn. Equipped with its own workshop, a representative showroom and your own video production "Stahlwerkstatt", Stahlwerk again sets the latest standards.
2020 - and also in terms of quality and durability, steel mill sets standards. "7 -year guarantee" testify to the greatest care in the development and construction of our products - in the industry unique and highly valued by our customers to this day.
2021 - As the namesake of the popular football talk "Stahlwerk Doppelpass" on Sport1, the company writes television history. The football talk for Sunday football fans has been thrilled all over Germany for over 25 years.
2022 - Steelworks conquered the tool world. With the expansion of the portfolio, the brand also grows and is not only very popular in the region, but also far beyond. As the main sponsor of the Cologne Haie, exclusive partner of the 1st FC Köln and Telekom Baskets, the company is strengthening its reputation within the industry. Further engagements at VfL Bochum, Borussia Mönchen Gladbach, HSV and St. Pauli follow.
2022/23 - Another milestone is the move to the new company headquarters. A state-of-the-art company complex with a connected flagship store in Bornheim near Bonn is being built on over 20,000 square meters.
2023 -Steelworks celebrates the 25th anniversary. For a quarter of a century, steelworks has been one of the leading companies in welding and cutting technology.

The name Stahlwerk today stands for a brand of international importance and the development of the company is far from over. Again and again new product ideas and technological developments ensure that our core competencies are expanded. Since research & development, production, sales and quality management are in one hand, both the range of services and customer service can be continuously optimized and expanded.
