Stahlwerk is the new main sponsor of the Cologne Haie from the 2022/23 season
Now it is official: Stahlwerk will be the new main sponsor at the eight -time German champion in ice hockey. From the 2022/2023 season, the company's logo will be present on all jerseys directly above the player name. In addition, with their new main sponsor, the Cologne Haie will launch their own product line from the cordless screwdriver to the welding machine in a special design for the Haie fan. The collaboration promises many exciting approaches.

Passion that welds together
The Cologne sharks belong to the founding associations of the German Ice Hockey League (DEL) and are still a member there. The sharks have been playing in the top German ice hockey division continuously since 1973 and became German champions eight times during this time. The home games are played in the Lanxess Arena and regularly visited by more than 13,000 spectators. In addition to the enthusiasm for ice hockey, it is above all the values ​​of the association that speak for a collaboration. We are enthusiastic and look forward to an exciting and successful cooperation with the ice hockey club that looks back on a long tradition and celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.

An extraordinary partnership
Stahlwerk naturally celebrates the partnership with the Cologne Haien in its own way. For the 50th anniversary, the YouTuber of the steel workshop came up with a very special gift: Rico builds a custom bike - of course in stylish sharks of the sharks. From the frame to the rims to saddle and handlebar, everything was built and nothing was left to chance. So the handlebar was made of ice hockey rackets, under the leather saddle with shark logo there are skate runners and the rims are like a shark mouth with pointed teeth. True to the motto "The right tool" for every job, every work step was carefully carried out with a steelworks tools.

The grand finale
The grand finale of the ambitious project takes place in the Lanxess Arena in Cologne. The handover takes place on the ice. The Steelwerk management and Rico would like to set an example with the gift for an extraordinary partnership. The fact that everything could be realized in such a short time speaks for a high degree of reliability, trust and commitment.
