STAHLWERK is the new main sponsor of the Kölner Haie from the 2022/23 season
Now it's official: STAHLWERK will be the new main sponsor of the eight-time German ice hockey champions. From the 2022/2023 season, the company's logo will, among other things, be present on all jerseys directly above the player name. In addition, the Kölner Haie, with their new main sponsor, will bring their own product line onto the market, from cordless screwdrivers to welding machines in a special design for Haie fans. The collaboration promises many exciting approaches.

Passion that brings us together
The Kölner Haie are one of the founding clubs of the German Ice Hockey League (DEL) and are still a member there today. The Haie have been playing in the top German ice hockey league continuously since 1973 and have been German champions eight times during this time. The home games are played in the Lanxess Arena and are regularly attended by more than 13,000 spectators. In addition to the enthusiasm for ice hockey, it is above all the club's values ​​that speak for cooperation. We are thrilled and look forward to an exciting and successful collaboration with the ice hockey club, which looks back on a long tradition and is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.

An extraordinary partnership
Of course, STAHLWERK celebrates the partnership with the Kölner Haien in its own way. For the 50th anniversary, the YouTubers at STAHLWERKSTATT have come up with a very special gift: Rico is building a custom bike - of course in the stylish Haie design. From the frame to the rims to the saddle and handlebars, everything was built in-house and nothing was left to chance. The handlebars were made from ice hockey sticks, there are ice skate blades under the leather saddle with the shark logo and the rims resemble a shark's mouth with sharp teeth. True to the motto “The right tool for every job”, every work step was carefully carried out using STAHLWERK tools.

The grand finale
The grand finale of the ambitious project will take place in the Lanxess Arena in Cologne. The handover takes place on the ice as befits the status. The STAHLWERK management and Rico would like to use the gift to set an example for an extraordinary partnership. The fact that everything could be realized in such a short time speaks for a high level of reliability, trust and commitment. And so we are looking forward to many more exciting activities with the Kölner Haien and of course to a successful season.
