The STAHLWERK ARC 270 ST welding machine with an output of 270 amps is ideal for DC MMA | MMA welding. The device can be used flexibly because no protective gas is required. The high-quality welding machine also has the latest generation of IGBT technology. The set welding current can be easily read on the digital display. The different welding modes can be set intuitively. In combination with the optionally available STAHLWERK WP-17V welding torch, the versatile arc welding machine can be converted into a TIG welding machine using the lift TIG function. Integrated overheating protection and high-performance cooling enable continuous access to maximum performance. A three-phase alternating current with 400 volts supplies the welding machine and allows an output power of real 270 amps.

Properties & advantages

The welding machine can be expanded into a DC TIG welding machine with the optionally available WP-17V universal lift TIG torch.
Hot Arc - Adjustable current increase at start for better ignition results. Prevents the stick electrode from sticking by briefly superimposing the set welding current and warms up the start of the weld seam more quickly.
ARC Force - Adjustable spray arc with which the arc width can be continuously regulated.
VRD - Mode in which the open-circuit voltage is reduced to maintain constant performance even at high welding currents.
Anti-Stick - Automatically shuts down the welding current if the electrode sticks allows for easy removal. It also prevents the electrode from burning out.
Smart cooling & overheating protection - State-of-the-art technology, integrated overheating protection and high-performance cooling enable maximum performance to be achieved.
Equipped with massive 13 mm professional connection sockets, the device ensures maximum performance.
Note: The device is not intended for use in residential areas where power is supplied via a public low-voltage power supply system. It may be difficult to ensure electromagnetic compatibility in these areas due to both conducted and radiated interference.
