The STAHLWERK ARC 200 MD is a particularly compact and lightweight DC electrode welding machine for universal MMA/MAW welding. With a welding current range of 20-200 A, it covers numerous applications in the repair, assembly and DIY sectors. Thanks to modern IGBT inverter technology, the device combines high performance with low weight and very good energy efficiency. The integrated hot start function briefly increases the welding current when igniting, thereby enabling safe and clean ignition of the electrode. In conjunction with the anti-stick function, which automatically reduces the current in the event of a short circuit between the electrode and the workpiece, the start of the seam and the work flow are significantly improved. Together with the very good arc properties, uniform weld seams with reliable penetration welding are created. Using an optionally available WP-17V Lift TIG torch (not included in delivery), the ARC 200 MD can also be used as a DC TIG device with contact ignition - ideal for finer work on steel and stainless steel when a smoother seam path is required. Comprehensive protection functions against overheating, overcurrent and overvoltage as well as intelligent temperature control (smart cooling) with demand-controlled fan, together with the ST-Guard housing, ensure high operational safety and longevity.
