• MMA electrode welding / ARC welding as a universal welding process. An electric arc melts the electrode, forming the weld seam. No protective gas is required and can therefore be used flexibly anywhere.
• A current recommendation can be selected using the practical reference current function (material thickness 1.0–10.0 mm and electrode diameter 1.6–5.0 mm). The device then automatically sets the appropriate welding current strength - the function is deactivated if the device is readjusted manually.
• The ARC 200 MD Digital has a Lift TIG mode (DC TIG) and can therefore be quickly converted into a DC TIG welding machine with the optionally available WP-17V Universal Lift TIG torch.
• Lightweight & compact design: Weighs only 3.4 kg and measures 269 x 116 x 187 mm. Innovative IGBT transistors save space and weight compared to old MOSFET technology. No more heavy carrying!
• The welding current and all other set parameters can be easily read on the clear digital display. The welding current from 10-200 A is easily adjusted using the control buttons.
• IGBT technology: Latest and most modern transistor technology enables maximum performance and duty cycle at full power! No transformer, no MOSFET, state-of-the-art IGBT. The high switching frequency ensures stable welding currents, thermal stability and high efficiency while at the same time being flexible and mobile.
• Highest efficiency & performance: Single-phase alternating current (230V) supplies the device and allows an output power of real 200 amps.

• Hotstart (optimized start): Automatic voltage increase during ignition improves start quality, reduces electrode sticking and warms up the start of the seam more quickly.
• Anti-stick (against sticking): Automatic reduction of the welding current when the electrode sticks allows for easy removal and prevents the electrode from overheating/annealing.
• ARC-Force stabilizes the arc at short arc lengths and increases penetration - particularly helpful with cellulose and basic electrodes.
• Smart cooling and overheating protection (maximum power available): High-performance cooling with integrated overheating protection for reliable continuous operation and safe power delivery.
• VRD (Voltage Reduction Device). Manual on/off switching of the VRD function allows the output voltage of the welding machine to be reduced to a safe level to protect the operator when touching the electrode while not welding is in progress.
• Electronics protection package: Overheating, overvoltage and overcurrent protection increase service life and operational safety.
• Demand-controlled fan: Fan only runs when needed - resulting in less dust and less noise.
• Robust ST-Guard housing: Ergonomic, shock-resistant, with easily accessible control panel for construction site/workshop use.
• 230 V operation: Single-phase connection 230 V / 50-60 Hz, fuse with C characteristic according to the manual.
