The new Stahlwerk AC/DC WIG 200 ST Digital is a versatile WIG welding device with an integrated MMA/e-hand welding function. In addition to the proven functions such as contactless HF ignition, smart cooling and overheating protection, the new model offers a digital display for more precise control, better clarity, simple handling and an additional remote connection to be able to operate the hose package WP26R (not included). The device offers a spot function that is particularly suitable for thin body parts in the vehicle area. As a result, the issue points are precisely reproducible and even. Due to the spot function, little warmth gets into the workpiece, which leads to less default. The device also offers 2-stroke and 4-stroke modes. Properties & advantages

2T/4T (WIG) - Control of the operating mode for extended power. In 2T mode, the HF ignition remains active as long as the burner button is pressed. In the 4T mode, the arc is ignited after pressing and letting go of the button and only ended when pressed again.
Sinking electricity - prevents the formation of lunker places at the end of the weld seam.
Gas front and injection (WIG)- adjustable gas front and after-term times protect the tungsten electrode and the weld seam from oxidation and wear.
AC balance-is a variable setting between the breaking of the oxide layer (-) and a deeper incorporation (+). This helps to influence the properties of different materials and alloys.
Hotstart - Automatic voltage increase when starting for better detonator results.
Anti -stick - automatic shutdown of the welding current when the electrode sticks enables easy removal.
WIG (Wolfram-Inert-Gas)-protective gas welding with inert/inactive gases such as Argon 4.6 (99.996%). An arc between tungsten electrode and workpiece is created in an argon bell. This melts the material and the additional material supplied if necessary. A weld seam is created.
MMA electrode welding / ARC welding - a universal welding process. An arc makes the electrode melt and thus forms the weld seam. No protective gas is required.
With the integrated clean function, welding seams can be effectively cleaned, passivated and refined. The electrolytic cleaning of weld seams has the advantage that the weld seam is corrosion -resistant after the treatment and receives a smooth surface.
A notice: The device is not intended for use in living areas in which the power supply is carried out via a public low -voltage supply system. It may be difficult to ensure electromagnetic compatibility in these areas through line -bound and emitted disorders.
