The steelworks DC WIG 200 ST is a powerful WIG welding device with MMA/ e-hand welding function. One of the advantages of this 2-in-1 combination welding device operated with direct current is the compact design and the low weight of only 7.6 kg. The DC WIG 200 ST has practical functions such as smart cooling and integrated overheating protection. In the WIG operation, the 2T/4T function ensures comfortable work. In 2T mode, the high frequency ignition (HF) remains active until the button on the Brenner is released. In the 4T mode, after pressing and letting go of the button of the arcs, the litig is ignited. After pressing and releasing again, the ignition ends. Advanced IGBT technology enables top performance in WIG and E-Hand welding with 200 amps. DC Wig welding - DC (DC). Welding of almost all metals such as steel, stainless steel, copper, brass and much more Note: Not suitable for aluminum - an AC/DC device is required for this.
2 in 1 combination device - WIG & MMA welding is possible up to 200 a.
2T/4T (WIG) - determines the control of the operating mode and offers extended control over the course of the current. In 2T mode, the high frequency ignition (HF) remains active until the button on the Brenner is released. In the 4T mode, after pressing and letting go of the die button, the lacquer is ignited. After pressing and releasing again, the ignition ends.
Gas reference (WIG) - the tungsten electrode protects against too high wear and protects the weld seam from oxidation. The parameter can be set individually and separately. He indicates how long after the ignition should flow gas.

WIG (Wolfram-Inert-Gas)-protective gas welding with inert/inactive gases such as Argon 4.6 (99.996%). An arc between tungsten electrode and workpiece is created in an argon bell. This melts the material and the additional material supplied if necessary. A weld seam is created.
MMA electrode welding / ARC welding - a universal welding process. An arc makes the electrode melt and thus forms the weld seam. No protective gas is required.
Notice: The device is not intended for use in living areas in which the power supply is carried out via a public low -voltage supply system. It may be difficult to ensure electromagnetic tolerance in these areas, both through line -bound and emitted disturbance.
