The steel mill DC WIG 200 Puls Pro is a powerful WIG welding device with MMA/E-Hand welding function. One of the many advantages of this 2-in-1 combination welding device operated with direct current is the compact design and the intuitively better operated control panel, on which all functions are clearly arranged. Individual settings on parameters, such as impulse current, pulse frequency, long and short pulse, can be made quickly. The DC WIG PULS Pro has extensive functions. Welding of thin sheets is just as possible as the handling or processing of band steels and flat iron. In short pulse mode, the temperature and the welding bath can be checked very well. In long pulse mode, a deeper incorporation can be achieved to produce wider welding seams. Advanced IGBT technology enables top performance in WIG and E-Hand welding.

Functions

  • DC Wig welding - DC (DC). Welding of almost all metals, such as steel, stainless steel, copper and much more, Note: Not suitable for aluminum - an AC/DC device is required for this.
  • 2 in 1 combination device - Wig welding is possible up to 200 A, MMA weld up to 160 A.
  • Extensive pulse function - WIG pulse - prevents burning of materials and reduces deformation by heat, particularly suitable for welding thin panels, the material of which may only be heated. Adjustable parameters are: pulse flow, pulse frequency, long and short pulse.
  • 2T/4T (WIG) - determines the control of the operating mode and offers extended control over the course of the current. In 2T mode, the high frequency ignition (HF) remains active until the button on the Brenner is released. In the 4T mode, after pressing and letting go of the die button, the lacquer is ignited. After pressing and releasing again, the ignition ends. Some functions such as reducing electricity are only possible in the 4T.
  • Sinking electricity - prevents the formation of lunker places (end crater) at the end of welding.
  • Gas reference (WIG) - the tungsten electrode protects against too high wear and protects the weld seam from oxidation. The parameter can be set individually and separately. He indicates how long after the ignition should flow gas.

Properties & advantages

  • IGBT Technology - the latest and most modern transistors technology enables the highest performance and a high switching time (ED)! No transformer, no MOSFET, the most modern IGBT!
  • Light & compact design - only 5.8 kg weight and dimensions of 365 x 152 x 275 mm. Innovative IGBT transistors save space and weight compared to the old MOSFET technology. No more difficult wear!
  • HF ignition (WIG) - enables contactless ignition and ensures a much better welding result. No lift arc, no stroking ignition!
  • Welding current / pulse current - through the two parameters of welding current "and pulse current" you can set two different streams for a welding process, between which the welding current always changes.
  • Impulse width - With the pulse width, you set how long the welding current takes on the current of the pulse current before setting up back to normal welding current strength.
  • Impulse frequency - The pulse frequency determines how often the current changes in a specified period between the two set values.
  • Long pulse - the weld seam becomes wider, the heat supply is higher and the incorporation is deeper.
  • Shortpuls - The welding bath can be better checked and the risk of welding a hole in the sheet is lower.
  • Innovative hose package including modified WP-26 burner with flex head. This enables flexible and simple work.
  • Hotstart - automatic voltage increase when starting for better detonator results.
  • Anti-stick-automatic shutdown of the welding current when the electrode sticks enables easy removal.
  • WIG (Wolfram-Inert-gas)-protective gas welding with inert/inactive gases such as Argon 4.6 (99.996%). An arc between tungsten electrode and workpiece is created in an argon bell. This melts the material and the additional material supplied if necessary. A weld seam is created.
  • MMA electrode welding / ARC welding - a universal welding process. An arc makes the electrode melt and thus forms the weld seam. No protective gas is required.
  • Job storage - memory option for self -configured settings / presets. There are 10 storage spaces available.

Notice
The device is not intended for use in living areas in which the power supply is carried out via a public low -voltage supply system. It may be difficult to ensure electromagnetic tolerance in these areas, both through line -bound and emitted disturbance.
