The STAHLWERK plasma cutter CUT 50 P is a powerful and very compact cutting inverter for the precise cutting of electrically conductive metals. The continuously adjustable cutting current from 15 to 45 A covers a wide range of applications - from thin sheets to solid structural steel plates. The HF pilot ignition ensures comfortable, contactless ignition of the plasma arc. Depending on the material, cuts of up to 15 mm for mild steel (ST37), 8 mm for stainless steel (V2A/V4A) and 5 mm for aluminum are possible. Even painted and slightly rusted workpieces can be processed cleanly and efficiently. The integrated smart cooling, overheating protection and protection class IP21S ensure reliable and long-lasting operation. Functions

  • Plasma / CUT - Electricity is used to generate a plasma jet that melts the material, which is then removed with compressed air. This means that all conductive metals such as standard steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum, titanium and much more can be cut precisely with ease.
  • Cutting thickness - Separating cuts are possible up to 15 mm depending on the material. Structural steel ST37 up to 15 mm, V2A or V4A up to 8 mm, aluminum up to 5 mm.
  • Pilot ignition - high frequency (HF) pilot ignition for first-class ignition behavior. No contact with the workpiece necessary! The pilot flame creates the arc. This burner can be operated with a spacer included in the scope of delivery.
  • Cutting current - stepless adjustment from 15 to 45 A.
  • Air flow - After the cutting process has ended, air automatically flows in to cool the torch and reduce wear on the nozzle and electrode.
