The ARC 160 MD welding machine steel mill convinces with real 160 amps, single board and IGBT technology of the latest generation. Thanks to the compact design with integrated single board, the device can be used flexibly without having to do without the advantages of IGBT technology - such as a high switching frequency, stable welding currents and high thermal stability. In combination with the optionally available steel plant WP-17V welding burner, the versatile inverter welding machine can be converted into a WIG welding machine with lift-hard. In addition, the MMA welding device also has a smart cooling and overheating protection.

MMA electrode welding / ARC welding - a universal welding process. An arc makes the electrode melt and thus forms the weld seam. No protective gas is required and can therefore be used flexibly at any location.
With the optionally available WP-17V Universal Lift-Tig-burner, the welding machine can be expanded into a DC WIG welding device.
IGBT technology - the latest and most modern transistor technology enables the highest performance and switch -on duration at full power! No transformer, no MOSFET, the most modern IGBT!
Light & compact design - only 3 kg weight and dimensions of 245 x 100 x 160 mm. Innovative IGBT transistors save space and weight compared to the old MOSFET technology. No more difficult wear!
The device supplies the highest efficiency & performance - single -phase change current (230V) and allows a output power of real 160 amps.
IGBT-SINGLE-BOORD-The ARC 160 MD welding machine has an IGBT single board. Thanks to the compact design, welding devices with a single board can be used very flexibly, without avoiding the advantages of IGBT technology (high switching frequency, stable welding currents, thermal stability).

Properties & advantages

Hotstart - Automatic voltage increase when starting for better detonator results. Prevents the stable electrode from being glued by short -term overlay of the set welding current and warms up the start of welding faster.
Anti -stick - automatic shutdown of the welding current when the electrode sticks enables easy removal. It also prevents the electrode from glowing.
Smart cooling & overheating protection - the latest technology, integrated overheating protection and high performance cooling enable the maximum performance.
Note: The device is not intended for use in living areas in which the power supply is carried out via a public low -voltage supply system. It may be difficult to ensure electromagnetic tolerance in these areas, both through line -bound and emitted disturbance.
