The steel mill AC/DC WIG 200 PULS Pro is a multifunctional WIG welding device with MMA or electrode welding function, which offers a relatively low weight and excellent welding properties with a reduced power consumption thanks to advanced pulse width modulation (PWM) and the latest IGBT technology. In addition, the combination welding device convinces when welding aluminum and thin sheet. The versatile inverter welding device has a digital control panel with extensive functions and setting options for DC MMA, DC WIG, AC WIG, DC and AC impulse. Due to the advanced pulse width modulation (PWM), more control is possible due to the high-frequency pulses and better incorporation with reduced power consumption with up to 500 Hz. The welding current can be adjusted comfortably at any time via the rotary control assembled on the burner.

Functions

  • DC lighting welding (MMA/E-Hand). MMA/electrode hand welding is a universal welding process because it can be used under almost all conditions. Different electrodes with different polarity can be connected to MMA/electrode hand welding.
  • DC WIG light arch welding (DC WIG). WIG light arch welding with DC. The polarity of the tungsten electrode is either positive or negative throughout the welding process.
  • WIG pulse welding. In the case of WIG pulse welding, a base current and at regular intervals are a high impulse current added to the same polarity in order to optimize the arc properties for the desired welding applications. As a result, the risk of burning in thin materials can be avoided and the deformation of the material can be reduced by the heat.
  • AC WIG light arch welding (AC WIG). WIG light arch welding with alternating current. The polarity of the electrode is switched alternately throughout the welding process. Is mainly used to weld aluminum and aluminum alloys.
  • AC WIG pulse welding. With AC-WIL-impulse welding, the impulse and alternating current mode are mixed, which can achieve an even more perfect welding result.
  • Anti-stick (MMA). In the event of a stipulated electrode on the workpiece, the welding current is automatically shut down. The electrode does not glow and can be easily loosened from the workpiece.

Properties & advantages

  • Hotstart (MMA). Automatic voltage increase when starting for better detonator results. Due to the short -term overlay of the set welding current, prevents the stable electrode from sticking and warms up the start of welding faster.
  • Hotstart (WIG). The hot start function enables a more uniform and stable start of the arc and increases the efficiency of the arc welding. The hot start current can be set between 30-150 A.
  • IGBT technology. Powerful, innovative solution that sets new standards in welding technology.
  • Smart cooling. A powerful fan enables the exhaustion of maximum switch -on duration through excellent cooling.
  • ST-Guard housing. Is ergonomic, robust and safe. The control panel is conveniently accessible and can be operated intuitively.
  • Gas lead. Thanks to the gas flow, the protective gas flow begins before the arc is ignited. This prevents the workpiece from getting in touch with air at the start of welding. The tungsten electrode is protected from excessive wear and the weld seam from oxidation. Depending on the sweat request, the gas lead time can be set individually.
  • Gas reference. After expiring the arc is exposed, the tungsten electrode is cooled by the gas supply time and the melting bath is protected from oxidation. Depending on the sweat requirement, the gas supply time can be set individually.
  • Start current. Electricity that is used at the start of the ignition before it merges to the set welding current (4T).
  • Remote regulation via burner or pedal. The welding current can be adjusted comfortably at any time via the rotary control assembled on the burner. Alternatively, the welding current can also be regulated with our optionally available foot pedal.
  • Welding current. Steplessly adjustable welding current.
  • Final current. Electricity that is concerned at the end of the ignition before the ignition expires (4T).
  • Electricity increase. After the light arch was completely ignited, the welding process changes into the electricity increase phase in which the welding current linear is raised from the set starting current value to the desired welding current value (4T).
  • Sinking electricity. After the burner button has been pressed again and released (4T), the device goes into an automatic electricity absence phase. Prevents lunker places (end crater) at the end of the weld seam.
  • AC frequency. Depending on the material used, the frequency density of the AC wave shape can be optimized. This accelerates the welding output and improves the welding seam shape.
  • AC balance. With this function, the positive and negative electricity cycles can be set to better break up the oxide layer in a horizontal direction in the alternating current-wig welding.
  • Cleaning current. The cleaning current is used to break the oxide layer in the longitudinal direction and to accelerate the melting pool formation.
  • Impulse current. The impulse current is a higher welding current that periodically alternates with the lower base current.
  • Impulse width. The pulse width is the duration of a single impulse. The duration of the pulse current can be adjusted based on the impulse width.
  • Impulse frequency. The pulse frequency determines how often the current strength changes back and forth in a specified period between the impulse and base current.
  • High frequency pulses. Due to the advanced pulse width modulation (PWM) with the latest IGBT technology, the device offers more control, excellent welding properties and better incorporation with reduced power consumption. This enables high frequency welding with up to 500 Hz.
