The STAHLWERK DC TIG 200 Puls Pro is a powerful TIG welding machine with MMA/MMA welding function. One of the many advantages of this DC-powered 2-in-1 combination welding machine is its compact design and the intuitively easier-to-use control panel on which all functions are clearly arranged. Individual settings for parameters such as pulse current, pulse frequency, long and short pulse can be made quickly. The DC TIG Puls Pro has comprehensive functions. Welding thin sheets is just as possible as processing strip steel and flat iron. In short-pulse mode, the temperature and the weld pool can be controlled very well. In long-pulse mode, a deeper penetration can be achieved to produce wider weld seams. Advanced IGBT technology enables maximum performance in TIG and MMA welding.

Features

  • DC TIG welding - direct current (DC). Welding of almost all metals, such as steel, stainless steel, copper and much more. Note: Not suitable for aluminum - an AC/DC device is required for this.
  • 2 in 1 combination device - TIG welding is possible up to 200 A, MMA welding up to 160 A.
  • Extensive pulse function - TIG PULS - prevents materials from burning through and reduces deformation due to heat, particularly suitable for welding thin plates whose material must only be heated slightly. Adjustable parameters are: pulse current, pulse frequency, long and short pulse.
  • 2T/4T (TIG) - determines operating mode control and provides advanced control over current flow. In 2T mode, the high-frequency ignition (HF) remains active until the button on the torch is released. In 4T mode, the arc is ignited after pressing and releasing the button once. After pressing and releasing again, the ignition is stopped. Some functions such as power reduction are only possible in the 4T.
  • Current reduction - prevents the formation of voids (end craters) at the end of the weld seam.
  • Gas follow-up (TIG) - protects the tungsten electrode from excessive wear and protects the weld seam from oxidation. The parameter can be set individually and separately. It indicates how long gas should flow after ignition.

Features & Benefits

  • IGBT technology - Latest and most modern transistor technology enables highest performance and a long duty cycle (ED)! No transformer, no MOSFET, state-of-the-art IGBT!
  • Lightweight & compact design - only 5.8 kg weight and dimensions of 365 x 152 x 275 mm. Innovative IGBT transistors save space and weight compared to old MOSFET technology. No more heavy carrying!
  • HF ignition (TIG) - enables contactless ignition and ensures a significantly better welding result. No LIFT ARC, no strike ignition!
  • Welding current / pulse current - Using the two parameters "welding current" and "pulse current" you can set two different current intensities for a welding process, between which the welding current always changes.
  • Pulse width - The pulse width is used to set how long the welding current assumes the current strength of the pulse current before it swings back to the normal welding current strength.
  • Pulse frequency - The pulse frequency determines how often the current intensity switches back and forth between the two set values in a specified period of time.
  • Longpuls - The weld seam becomes wider, the heat input is higher and the penetration is deeper.
  • Shortpulse - The weld pool is easier to control and there is less risk of welding a hole in the sheet metal.
  • Innovative hose package including modified WP-26 torch with flex head. This enables flexible and easy working.
  • Hotstart – Automatic voltage increase when starting for better ignition results.
  • Anti-Stick – Automatically shuts down the welding current if the electrode sticks, allowing for easy removal.
  • TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) – Inert gas welding with inert/inactive gases such as Argon 4.6 (99.996%). An arc is created in an argon bell between the tungsten electrode and the workpiece. This melts the material and any additional material that may be added. A weld seam is created.
  • MMA electrode welding / ARC welding - a universal welding process. An electric arc melts the electrode, forming the weld seam. No protective gas is required.
  • Job memory – storage option for self-configured settings/presets. There are 10 storage spaces available.

Note
The device is not intended for use in residential areas where power is supplied via a public low-voltage supply system. It may be difficult to ensure electromagnetic compatibility in these areas due to both conducted and radiated interference.
